I've just checked in a rewrite of the relocation overflow checking, from Chris Torek. Please let me know if you notice any unexpected relocation overflows when working with a newer snapshot. The new code should actually be more conservative in permitting certains valid relocations which the old code rejected, but of course there may be bugs. Ian
