ximfapp and gif files?

I don't have ximfapp at hand, but if it works like the mac version, you are
not supposed to load *.imf files but *.dir files. That's what the menu item
"Open imf dir" means. And there is just one *.dir file which is named
imf.dir that lists all images in xconq.
