How to fix the xconq network code

I think so. Most of the fixes are in the kernel and should be
platform-independent. That being said, some of the fixes that worked fine
on the Mac did not do as well on Unix. So I guess we won't know for sure
about Windows until somebody compiles and tests the current sources. Before
doing so, one would have to apply Jakob Ilves' Win patches. I don't think
they are in the CVS sources yet.
