Ah that systemtap.log file is informative.  If you look toward the
end of it, you see DMESG: lines, which are kernel errors.  The moment
you hit a "DMESG: BUG:", the kernel has declared shenanigans, and
may hobble on, but subsequent observations can mislead.

In this case, it looks like the kernel was starting up a stap script
("symfileline.stp"), working on a target stap_test_module2 .ko.
And during this startup phase, systemtap was inserting a kprobe into
the stap_test_module2, which involves the kernel digging around the
instruction bytes of this module.  During this digging, the kernel
crashed.

This should not happen!  The target module was right there, still
loaded (see trace extracts below).  It's as though the kernel's
own instruction-decoder logic went kookoo.

My main suggestion would be to try it with a different/newer
kernel version.
