[PATCH 0/5] cell processor port

My name is Joel Schopp.  I've recently taken over IBMs involvement in newlib on the cell 
processor (of Playstation 3 fame) from Andreas Neukoetter.

We would like to work towards getting our changes merged into the main newlib repository. 
  To that end here is the stack of patches from our cvs for review/inclusion.  I am not 
sure what coding style newlib generally uses, or much about the process of how patches are 
submitted.  I'm a quick learner though, so any feedback will not go unheeded.

Quick summary.  Patches 1&2 enable basic support.  Patch 3 & Patch 4 are optimizations. 
Patch 5 adds support for stat().
