Help with MSG_CTRUNC in recvmsg

Hello Folks,
Need some help in debugging the sendmsg/recvmsg over UNIX socket. So I am
using the SOCK_STREAM and sending data between two process using the
sendmsg and recvmsg.
While it works most of the times I do get MSG_CTRUNC on the recvmsg side
and it continues to be set for all subsequent recvmsg calls.
I did check that

msg.msg_controllen is sufficiently large(4K) and the actual size sent is
only 24 bytes and the buffer is allocated to the msg.msg_control


On the sendmsg side I do not see any errors set. So any clue on how to
debut this? I am using the centos platform to run this.
