Video/Audio: https://bbb.linuxfoundation.org/room/adm-alk-1uu-7fu

IRC: #glibc on OFTC.

 * Starting to track glibc 2.44 release.
  * Starting June 20th we are in Soft freeze looking at the blockers and desirable.
  * DJ requested that system-wide tunables should be included.
   * Discussed https://patchwork.sourceware.org/project/glibc/list/?series=62268
   * Request DJ add this to desirables for review.
  * Carlos raised the fact that the glibc security team is still working through a backlog and would like support for either reviewing or including all of the known issues into the release.
  * malloc: Don't call __get_thp_mode/__get_thp_size twice (HJ)
   * Carlos: Add to desirables/blocker?
   * Repost rebased on the new tree so the pre-commit CI runs.
  * [v1] ppc64le: Restore optimized memchr for power10 [BZ #34300] (Sachin)
   * No review required, very similar to old code.
   * Sachin: Wanted to check if the release is nearby.
   * Consensus was for Sachin to commit as machine maintainer if this is ready.
   * No blockers based on release.
  * Discussed a glibc malloc performance regression that Arm is reviewing, related to recent refactoring. Unlikely that RCA gets done before release, but we can backport the fixes without ABI impact.
  * Discussed debugging experience breakage in glibc and gdb.
   * https://lists.linaro.org/archives/list/linaro-toolchain@lists.linaro.org/thread/JQPE6PDUXKZ24SBM6DC5LZTRC5HBQ7ZV/
   * Carlos: I'll raise this with Andrew Burgess, Kevin, an Gwen too.
   * Yury: I'll discuss with Thiago (Linaro)
  * TCB Layout changes?
   * Andreas: Missing pre-requisites.
   * Carlos: I'll follow up with Florian to look at status.
  * Discussed systemd use of dlvsym and if glibc upstream needs to review usage to look for potential future deployment problems?
