Tarball for 2.26 is not up-to-date with 2.26 branch

Hi,

I noticed today that the tarballs for 2.26 are missing the two fixes for 
assert in the 2.26 release branch (fb9a781e9d and 2aa1a7a8f8). Is there 
a reason that they are out of sync, or would it be possible to update 
the tarballs?
