Thank you for your comments. They jibe with my impression of how inappropriate 
and non-funny the joke is for a significant part of our audience. Whether a few 
people like it is unimportant compared to the overall damage it does to our 
cause. The joke really, really should go, and I hope RMS takes time to read and 
consider your full comment carefully.
