Is the NEWS up to date? ;-)

Could you please add "Update manual/contrib.texi" to the "Release"
page on the wiki somewhere in the same area as updating NEWS?

A while ago you pointed me at a list of possible things I should add
to NEWS, can you point me at that email? I can't seem to find it?

I'm going to add those things to NEWS right now.
