mr> the command that works is :

mr>  rsync -avz --recursive --files-from=<(cd
mr> "/c/WINDOWS/system32/LogFiles/WMS/[Global]/" && find ./WMS_*.log
mr> -mtime -7 -print) "/c/WINDOWS/system32/LogFiles/WMS/[Global]" -e ssh
mr> admin@myhost.net:/var/log/streaming/wms/logs

mr> anyone got a min to correct my usage or point me in the right direction

cd "/c/WINDOWS/system32/LogFiles/WMS/[Global]/"
rsync -avz --recursive --files-from=< \
(find ./WMS_*.log -mtime -7 -print) \
"/c/WINDOWS/system32/LogFiles/WMS/[Global]" -e ssh admin@myhost.net:/var/log/streaming/wms/logs
