How to compile Embedded SQL/C programs

I'm working on NT 4.0 with OpenIngres and I'm trying to compile embedded
Esql/C programs with gcc.
(Ingres say that only Microsoft Visual C/C++ 4.0 can compile C-code that
his precompiler generate.)

Has anybody had already trying to do this.
