There is no reason to add GTK to crosstool-NG. GTK is *not* a system
library and does *not* belong to the toolchain. You have to build it
yourself.

This error has nothing to do with GTK or Java. Beside, the error quoted
above is *not* enough to understand why it breaks. As the message tells
you, look at the full build log: /usr/local/xtools/build.log
