 Indeed, adapting my earlier reply to someone else on gdb-patches, a while 
ago GMail started refusing e-mail originating from my mail server owing to 
the lack of annotation they require.  You'll still receive copies via the 
mailing list as long as you're subscribed, but whether they actually land 
in your inbox or not will depend on your setup.  If you have a separate 
feed for mailing list traffic, which I take it you do, you'll only get my 
messages there.

 Apologies for the inconvenience, but I'm not going to do anything about
it.  E-mail is analogous to post and just as anyone can post anything
through my letter box I expect all recipients to accept all the e-mail I
send and not just messages specially marked on the envelope.  Just as it
has been through 30 years I've been using this way to communicate.

 I've sent this from my work e-mail address then so as to make it easier 
for you to see it.

 NB I've sent a bunch of replies to your old MIPS HI/LO relocation fixes, 
and I have more to come, possibly in time for 2.45, but I may not be able 
to make it as I've been stretched rather thin recently.  In any case it's 
not forgotten effort, but rather a can of worms.  It seems I'll be able to 
sort it for good though, I can see now what's going on there.

 A generic change to BFD and throughout the tools accordingly seems to be 
required though, to adapt an internal API that is missing error status 
reporting, and that may actually warrant postponing beyond 2.45, just to 
be on the safe side.

 So I think I'll just reorder changes and push one that I have ready but 
thought to be for later on and see how many of your outstanding PR 19977 
fixes are ready to go in, and then let's settle on rolling 2.45 and come 
back to the rest once it's out.
