Ah, you're right, I sent the patch to gcc without the GNU global files
added.  I should have merged this patch, _then_ sync gcc with ours.

If you have something to add, I suggest you add it to our copy, and then
we send another sync patch to gcc-patches.  I don't think it's something
anybody will be opposed to, so I think it's safe to do it this way.
