I've been working on PDOS/386 on and off
since 1994. For whatever reason, when MSDOS
came out, and then the 80386 came out, no-one
came up with a 32-bit version of MSDOS. There
were only ever DOS extenders created. Now it
finally exists in a robust enough state to execute
gcc and "as", but not "ld" and "ar".
I am hoping to eventually have something
like Cygwin running, but it all depends on
getting "ld" working first.
