Problem on binutils-2.14.90.0.6 on Ia64

Hello all ,
I am new to the list.I am working in the squid Development.I have configured
and make the binutils-2.14.90.0.6 on Ia64.i have used only the prefix option
only in the configuration.During make install i am getting the error as
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/rpm/binutils-2.14.90.0.6/bfd/doc'
./chew -f ./doc.str <./../aoutx.h >aoutx.tmp
nput file ./doc.str
make[2]: *** [s-aoutx] Error 33

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/rpm/binutils-2.14.90.0.6/bfd'
make: *** [install-bfd] Error 2
I think some of u are working in Ia64.So if uknow about this,please give
response for this.
