Yeah, that was a busy enough situation without me poking my head in ;)

Anyhow, you can afaik, make tests to be specific to specific
processors.  You could, I believe, conceivably make the testsuite call a
particular set of generic tests to check.  I really haven't looked at
the specific tests recently so I can't comment on them.
