How does that matter? Are you trying to imply that it's not importantenough? I agree, which is why if someone is bothered by it, it makessense to just drop it since it doesn't do anything very useful in thecontext of the GNU project anyway given that multiple fellow developershave objected to it for various reasons and to various degrees.
