The steps I listed the PR are sufficient to reproduce the abort. I
doubt it is OS or distro relevant.
I can reproduce it on my Fedora 16 laptop (x86) and RHEL 6.1 server
(x86_64). However, I can't reproduce it on ubuntu lucid machine (x86_64).
