As suggested by Enrico in that message: "we should recreate the autotools+libtool
stuff before compiling."

And my reply (http://sourceware.org/ml/crossgcc/2008-05/msg00083.html) stated
that I was not comfortable with autotools+libtool, and that if any one had a
sane patch for the issue, I'd gladly apply it (if that was not clear in my
previous mail).

I'm really sorry that I can neither reproduce that on my system, nor fix it
by myself. Really, sending in a patch would help.

PPS. Really, autotools+libtool get on my nerves, and I eventually finish
    shouting at the beasts not long after I start working on those. Sorry.
