Hi, I have faced the same problem. One workaround to this problem is to use 'set remoteaddresssize 32' command. Thanks to Petr Ledvina for his help. I have reported this bug on GDB gnatsweb. The PR no is 1022. Follow the link for the description of the problem I have posted. http://sources.redhat.com/ml/gdb/2003-02/msg00299.html Regards Shrinivas > -----Original Message----- > From: Bill Gatliff [mailto:bgat at billgatliff dot com] > Sent: 12 March 2003 09:43 PM > To: crossgcc at sources dot redhat dot com; gdb at sources dot redhat dot com > Subject: h8300-elf-gdb-3.2.1 addresses clipped > > > Guys: > > > I've noticed that h8300-elf-gdb-5.3 isn't sending all 24 bits of > address for h8300s machines: > > Loading section .init, size 0xa lma 0x202000 > Sending packet: $M2000,a:5e2020a05e2022105470#56...Ack > Packet received: OK > Loading section .text, size 0x246 lma 0x20200c > Sending packet: > $M200c,20:7a070027fffc7a00002 > > Note the difference between the address in the M packet vs. the > address in the lma.
