Second-Tier Branch Conventions
The grte tier is expected to be used to track the versions of GLIBC that are used in the GRTE (Google RunTime Environment) package. The sub-branch name includes both the GRTE version number (a small integer) and the glibc version that it is based on. Changes to the branch are documented in README.google.
