Please use the following templates when carrying out a first response to an initial report.

First Response Template "Act is NOT ongoing"

Thank you for raising this issue.

We know it can be difficult to raise code of conduct issues.

We appreciate that you took the time to write to the code of conduct committee.

The glibc code of conduct committee (CoCC) will review the issue and get back to
you with follow-on questions or a decision.

Just for clarity, you are indicating that the act is not ongoing and there is no
threat to your safety? If the issue is ongoing or a threat to your safety occurs
please reach out again, or escalate to the local authorities.

Next steps:

- The glibc CoCC will review the report and get back to you with follow-on
  questions or a decision. This will happen within 5-7 days.
