The recent commit 0680bad538fcc12ab6a94dc08ed0418a70f41cfa broke the use of --libexecdir= and forces some things to be installed under /usr/libexec even if --libexecdir=/usr/lib was specified. This broke the daily build in Ubuntu, e.g. here is the log of the failing build: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/536018788/buildlog_ubuntu-groovy-amd64.systemtap_4.4.140.g8b74817e5+20.10.20210428215339_BUILDING.txt.gz Specifically this fails: dh_install: warning: Cannot find (any matches for) "usr/lib/systemtap/stapio" (tried in ., debian/tmp) because it's now located at "usr/libexec/systemtap/stapio"
commit 3f0603420565a should fix this, theoretically
(In reply to Frank Ch. Eigler from comment #1) > commit 3f0603420565a should fix this, theoretically Does fix it (at least it gets the Ubuntu daily build working again). Thanks!
