Description Andrew Cagney 2005-10-09 14:42:00 UTC
Looking for behavior similiar to thunderbird's message window. Either can be
viewed as a tree, or can be treated as a simpler simple list and filtered using
a search tree. Live filter (like firefox) would also be better.

I'm told that the current widget isn't sufficient for this (sigh) so I'm not
asking for much ;-)

There is the standard gtk tree view search (click in the tree, start typing to
find the item in the tree). One of the measures that came out of the Boston was
an ordered tree that defined a more useful order other than the one imposed on
the system. It seems the requirements for these two are similar. Changing to
enhacement request.
