Feedback on the translate-discuss-af@lists.sourceforge.net indicates that there are espects of the changes that need discussion. We will wait until there is some agreement on these changes.
No further debate has happened re: thousand separator and decimal. This patch currently uses: command and point respectively. This aligns with the OpenOffice locale and general computer usage practice. Ie lets apply this as is.
I applied the patch after fixing it up to match the current sources.
