Clash of Civilizations

I just ran across a website for a Java-based Civ game project!
Check out http://clash.apolyton.net for details.  They have
a working Windows demo to download, haven't tried it myself
though.  Interestingly, while it's organized as a team of
developers around the net, some team members have visions of
commercialization, and so it's not open source.  Lots of
interesting discussion about game models though!
