Kindly ask to apply patches to systemtap

Hi -

After finding a version of your patches that were intact (not
word-wrapped), could get them applied & tested.  They make things
better, but are not quite enough to compile everything with
clang/clang++ on Fedora [e.g. 40] via "CC=clang CXX=clang++ configure"
Are you interested in continuing the effort?

The work so far is pushed to the users/fche/PR32524 branch.
