BTW it's worth to note that there was kretprobe (theoretically cosmetic) change 
introduced in v2.6.34-rc1 that wasn't entirely correct:

    f007ea2 kprobes/x86: Cleanup save/restore registers

but was fixed in v2.6.35-rc6:

    a197479 x86: kprobes: fix swapped segment registers in kretprobe
