When installing SystemTap, you can involontarily install kernel-* packages that
are not compatible with SystemTap because they use different versions of the
linux kernel. For example :
rpm -q kernel kernel-devel kernel-debuginfo
kernel-2.6.31.5-127.fc12.x86_64
kernel-debuginfo-2.6.31.5-127.fc12.x86_64
kernel-devel-2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64
That will obviously not make SystemTap work. It would be great if at some point
the package manager could warn/help saying that the kernel numbers are different
and ideally explains what to do in order to sort the situation out.
