Some related changes were made in commit 69087111,
but I still see failures on a fedora-8 machine.

On f8 and rhel5 (x86-64 each), I also see:

% ./stap -p2 -e 'probe kernel.statement("bio_pu@fs/bio.c:*") {}'
stap: ../systemtap3/tapsets.cxx:1589: void dwflpp::function_line(int*):
Assertion `function' failed.
[1]    23503 abort (core dumped)
