Here is a pointer to a tutorial article that show some examples of 
kprobes and jprobes:

It should be helpful for people that are familar with the Kernel 
internals, but are not familar with kprobes. The hope is that people 
people can write instrumentation with kprobe/jprobe that can be 
transferred to SystemTAP.
