Snapshot-2001-06-06 replaces snapshot-2001-06-04

I have replaced snapshot 2001-06-04 with snapshot 2001-06-06
in which I've fixed a number of the documentation files with
corrected and more up-to-date information. I've also exported
some routines that should have been (for Linux portability).
They are:

      pthread_mutexattr_getkind_np()
      pthread_mutexattr_setkind_np()

And removed one library specific non-portable routine that
is not required, and a possible source of future chaos:

	pthread_mutex_setdefaulttype_np()

There have been no other changes.
