httpd on gcc.gnu.org died?

I noticed that I could not connect to port 80 on gcc.gnu.org, while
interactive shells worked just fine, so I checked for httpd daemons
running, and indeed there were none.

Here is how I fixed this:

  [root@sourceware init.d]# ./httpd restart
  Shutting down http:                                        [FAILED]
  Starting httpd:                                            [  OK  ]

(User zroot was idle for a few minutes, so I assumed that my restart
would not interfere with any ongoing work.)
