Building newlib's PDF docs with new tools (texinfo 7.1) fails with "misplaced {" errors

Hello!

When trying to build newlib's docs, I now get following error when
trying to generate PDF documentation:

It seems these are caused by "@author {...}" fields both in libc.texi
and libm.texi, as when I remove the curly braces around the names then
it works fine.

It worked fine just 2 months ago with exactly the same commands/scripts
and sources used, however with texinfo 7.0.3. Now with texinfo 7.1 it
fails as shown above.
