This series of patches is intended to syncronize libgloss and newlib/libc/sys/arm sources. As Richard mentioned many times new patches for libgloss/arm requires the same changes to be applied libc/sys/arm. And vice versa. For the moment they are totally different (e.g. syscalls.c) and this comlicates it's maintainance.
