Here. I missed that the patch also converted all uses of `ap` inside the 
function to use `ap_copy` instead. You could have limited your reply to 
this one line :)

Then the patch looks okay to me.

PS. The USE_VA_POINTERS case was showing what the nano printf patch 
intended to do - pass either `(va_list *)ap` or `&ap` to the callee - 
i.e. to demonstrate the current state in newlib 3.0.0.
