I couldn't think of anything else either and to protect the innocent I'd
place it at index 1 so nothing comes before it.

Just my two euro cents :-)

PS: And obviously you've been influenced by the "The Hitchhiker's Guide
to the Galaxy" in selecting 42 as the answer to it all :-)
