Hi, Because GNU Automake since version 1.13 doesn't support Cygnus style-tree, compiling under this version fails: configure.in:5: error: support for Cygnus-style trees has been removed Makefile.am:1: error: support for Cygnus-style trees has been removed So I think newlib shouldn't use cygnus.
