Patch applied except for the top-level configure.ac and configure 
changes.  These files need to be kept in sync with the ones in gcc so 
please submit those to the gcc list and cc: binutils@sourceware.org and 
gdb-patches@sourceware.org.  You can mention that I have already 
approved the changes for newlib.
