Drat! Jeff is too quick. I was just in the middle of writing an email
that points out that this conflicts with some of the changes in the
general libm patch that I sent yesterday (see, e.g.
http://sourceware.org/ml/newlib/2009/msg00282.html). Installing mine is
now likely to introduce problems. I'll have to re-generate and re-send
one or more of the patch files, so don't put them in until I've been
able
to do so. (On the bright side, it does answer the question of how to
handle the conflicts.)
