broken multilib build

Hi,

I'm trying to build gcc 3.4.6 with --with-newlib (newlib 1.16.0) for
SH4. Under Linux everything is ok. Under Cygwin environment
compilation goes fine, but multilib libraries (ml/m4) are build
incorrectly, i.e. with wrong endian. With GCC 4.2.1 everything is
fine.

Currently, I copy newlib libraries from Linux to Windows host, but
this is not a sufficient solution.

Any hints, how multlib builds can be fixed?
