Thanks for doing this. 

Nothing personal about any of this.  It was just a change in licensing 
in newlib that was inconsistent
with current licenses.

Hopefully we can soon have an active set of bfin-elf and bfin-rtems 
users.  Alain said he was ready
to submit the Blackfin RTEMS port so it should show up on the RTEMS CVS 
head soon.
