Can't build: "`CFLAGS' has changed since the previous run"

Thanks Dave, that fixed it!  (Well, it seems to have done.  It builds.)

I'd still be interested to hear suggestions for better ways to organise
a unified gcc/binutils/newlib source tree than the cvs+svn hack that
I described.  Any ideas?
