newlib didn't create makefiles

Hello Gerster,

You could try building newlib in a unified tree. To do that, unpack
the gcc and newlib tarballs, and move the newlib directory from the
newlib tarball into the unpacked gcc directory. Then configure and
build gcc as usual.
