Hello.

We've ported iconv library to Newlib-1.11.0 and want to contribute it.
The original is placed at
http://www.dante.net/staff/konstantin/FreeBSD/iconv/iconv-2.0.tar.gz.
This library have BSD-like license. At first, I want to know, is this
license appropriate?

The license is:

/*-

 * Konstantin Chuguev. All rights reserved.

 * 2. Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright
 * notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the
 * documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.
 * 3. All advertising materials mentioning features or use of this software
 * must display the following acknowledgement:

 * OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
 * SUCH DAMAGE.
 *
 * iconv (Charset Conversion Library) v2.0
 */

If the license is OK and maintainers agree, we'll start the process of
contribution.
