Solaris no longer works with long long in 3.0 branch

The 3.0 branch seems to no longer support the long long type for Solaris
2.7. It seems that Solaris 2.7 doesn't have "fpclassify" and "wcstold"
(as well as other related) functions. This sets "ac_c99_math" and
"ac_c99_wchar" to "no" in configure. This sets "enable_c99" to "no"
which then sets "enable_long_long" to "no".
Is there a simple solution for this that I am overlooking?
I can also confirm that the problem with the "undefined reference to
`__gxx_personality_v0'" while configure is running test programs is
happening under Solaris 2.7 as well. This was reported with a x86/Linux
machine recently.
Thanks,
-Randy
