expf bug on 3.0 branch

I'm building the current 3.0 branch on Solaris 2.6.
I get this:

ld: fatal: symbol `expf' is multiply defined:
        (file .libs/libstdc++.lax/libmath.a/stubs.o and file .libs/libstdc++.lax/libmath.a/expf.o);
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to .libs/libstdc++.so.3.0.0collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [libstdc++.la] Error 1


I reported this last week against the trunk.  I haven't looked to see
if a patch ever went in.
