It makes sense to share a testing harness with the GCC project, as 
libffi has benefited in so many ways from being included in the GCC 
source tree.

I believe there's a way to add target specific flags on a per test-case 
basis to the actual test-case source code, but I don't have time to look 
it up right now.   You might find examples by rummaging through GCC 
testsuite.  I can look it up tomorrow otherwise.
